Town Garden. This garden is entered from lower ground level and leads up to a 7m by 4½ meter raised patio area. The garden was originally created in a traditional style but was looking tired, dark and no longer in keeping with the house
The clients brief was to create a more contemporary garden with simple lines with a low maintenance planting scheme. Also to create a child friendly partition between the upper and lower levels.

Contrasting the softness of the decking with the texture of the new paving and the metal containers creates a modern feel. The introduction of new raised rendered and painted beds makes the garden feel like an extension of the house. The use of staggered containers provides the division between the levels.
